AFP Opinion Line Debuts
By Vince Ryan
This week, American Free Press will be debuting its new Telephone Opinion and Commentary Line. Now, with one simple phone call, you can listen to a brief editorial or commentary by one of AFP’s editors or correspondents and leave your opinion or a news tip. That number is 1-888-886-4318.
And it is not as though your comments will go unnoticed as is the case with so many other opinion lines. Every day, an AFP staffer will carefully listen to your comments and transcribe portions to be run in the following week’s issue of American Free Press on our Letters to the Editor page.
It costs you $1.99 per minute. So you can leave your comments, knowing they will receive the attention they deserve, and help out your favorite newspaper at the same time. To avoid any potential problems or chance of abuse, we are requiring that callers use a major credit card when calling into AFP’s Opinion and Commentary Line.
Your opinions are important to us; you are our lifeblood. So as I have always said over the years: “Your influence counts. Use it.”
In the future we may be expanding the service to include interviews with AFP reporters like Chris Bollyn and Michael Collins Piper discussing their latest hot stories and, if my schedule allows, I have suggested a recorded version of The Ryan Report you can listen to once a month or more.
