Eleven Voting Experts Cited in New Book
Say High Tech Election Theft Is Happening
Another outreach tool, a copy of which was provided to AFP, is the engaging book, Hacked: High Tech Election Theft in America, which features the writings of 11 experts covering several aspects of this subject.
It exposes the subtle but shocking manner in which private companies have apparently hijacked America’s elections by using easily manipulated software for electronic vote-casting and counting machines—proprietary computer code that strictly belongs to the companies; therefore, even government election clerks are not allowed to learn the innerworkings of the software that drives the machines. Moreover, election officials experience troublesome glitches during routine operation of these machines on Election Day.
The book is dedicated to Bev Harris, who has tirelessly fought for honest elections. “She’s the ‘Erin Brockovich’ of this whole movement,” said Vickie Karp, who co-edited the book with Abbe Waldman DeLozier. Watch AFP for more on this book, including a review, in a future edition.
